The Ummatics Colloquium welcomes proposals for short essays (of approximately 1500 words) that articulate the imperative, urgency, and challenges of an ummah-centered imagination for Muslims. The essay may emphasize religious, social, or political dimensions, depending on the author’s interests. Contributions may be in the fields of political theory, society and civilization, geopolitics and international relations, or Islamic legal norms.
Please note that all essay proposals undergo review and approval by the Ummatics team with a turnaround time of approximately one week. Writers are encouraged to review the essays published on the website (under “Articles”) for guidance on subjects and tone.
